Partner Agency Grants

FOOD For Lane County (FFLC) is pleased to offer grants to Partner Agencies to support a higher volume, greater diversity and expansion of culturally preferred whole foods from Lane County producers primarily and Oregon-based secondarily. This funding is a unique opportunity for FFLC and our partners to invest in food security for Lane County. The goals of the project are to:

  1. Provide for more volume, diversity and culturally preferred foods as identified by clients from local producers primarily and Oregon-based secondarily, and

  2. Improve infrastructure requirements to store, process, aggregate and distribute whole foods, and provide support for staff and/or volunteers to implement the changes.

2025 Funding Opportunity

FFLC will provide a total of $150,000 in grants to Partner Agencies. This funding is a unique opportunity for FFLC and our Partner Agencies to invest in projects that support food security in the way that our Partners believe to be the most useful or helpful for them. This means that funds can be used to bolster infrastructure, purchase supplies (up to $4,999 per unit), or for foods that are typically unattainable (such as berries or seafood) because of the costs, support staffing costs to implement a project, or support volunteer team members as a recognition for their commitment.

Eligibility

This funding is reserved for 1) Partner Agencies of FOOD For Lane County who are in good standing or 2) other agencies who have demonstrated fiscal and programming success in providing services to the community for a period of at least three years. This funding opportunity is not available to Trillium branded programs, such as Trillium Produce Plus.

Criteria

  2. Purchase culturally or ethnically preferred whole foods that are not readily available

  3. Improve infrastructure to purchase, store, aggregate and/or distribute more whole foods, and have the staffing and volunteers to support this objective
